Today I was at the hospital all morning preparing for my operation which is now just 11 days away.
On Monday , 20th January 2014 a skilled surgeon will make a bikini line incision , rummage around in the gizzards and remove my uterus, ovaries and cervix , i.e, a hysterectomy and my new fibroid free life of radiant health and vitality will begin. That is the plan.
I've fought uterine fibroids for 13 years . Heavy bleeding and iron deficiency weren't motivation enough but were fixed and sorted. It was the peeing problems that really pissed me off and shoved me towards considering surgery. So, after prolonged suffering with urinary and bladder problems , and urinary tract infections , enough's enough . Decision made. " the whole lot needs to be whipped out "
